A little about me, my background, and the work behind this website.

My name is Benjamin Bairrington (Benny/Beanie). I am a researcher, writer, teacher, and creative builder with a background spanning mathematics, physics, education, animation, and independent projects. My academic work has focused especially on dynamical systems, number-theoretic functions, and computational research, while my broader work includes teaching, visual media, and long-form creative projects.

This website brings those different parts together in one place: art, writing, animation, photography, and personal projects, alongside some of the research and technical work that shaped them.

Current Focus

Research Interests

My current mathematical interests center on ergodic theory and dynamical systems, especially where they connect with arithmetic and number-theoretic questions. I am particularly interested in the structural and asymptotic behavior of iterative maps. At the same time, my recent physics work has involved astrophysical data analysis, statistical modeling, and the study of stellar clusters and galactic environments.
